CirrusMD is available in all 50 states (+DC) on a 24/7/365 basis. While most employers offer one or more traditional, video-based telemedicine option to employees, utilization of 5% or less limits its value. That’s why your clients’ telemedicine strategy should include text-first care which appeals to a large percentage of employees who will never utilize video-based solutions and prefer to send and receive information by text. Many employees can receive more appropriate care in a lower-cost setting avoiding the ER, urgent care or visiting with a PCP. CirrusMD is an employer-sponsored benefit. We offer 2 pricing options: PEPM along with an experience fee which is a 7 day window for employees to engage with a physician for an unlimited amount of time and encounters. We also offer an all-in PEPM where the experience fee is included in the fee and employees will still have unlimited access to a physician for a 7 day period.
Employer Setup Process
CirrusMD typically maintains a 90-day implementation plan. Employers key responsibilities include providing valid eligibility data; User Acceptance Testing (UAT); Assigning marketing resources to provide approved branding/assets and design global promotional activities; Coordinate to define Key Performance Indicators; Agreeing to meet monthly/quarterly following implementations to assess success against KPIs. A typical CirrusMD implementation does not require specific “integration” and represents a minimal resource commitment from our clients to launch. Eligibility data may come from the employer, TPA, vendor (e.g. Alight) or via real-time process through Change Healthcare. If we will be submitting claims to a carrier (e.g. for HSA), we work with Cognizant for claims/adjudication.
